  • How do I book a class?

All classes are booked through Wodify, our class management app. Once you create your account, you’ll be able to view the schedule, reserve your spot, and track your workouts all in one place.

We do not accept bookings through text, DMs, or in person.

  • What if I’ve never worked out before?

No worries — you don’t need any experience to start at The Glute House. Every class is coached and guided so you’ll always know what to do and how to do it safely.

We focus on proper form, gradual progress, and confidence-building, meeting you exactly where you are. Whether you’re brand new or getting back into a routine, we’ll make sure you feel supported and strong from day one.,

  • What is the reservation and waitlist policy?

Each class has a limited number of spots to keep the experience personal and hands-on.

If a class is full, you can join the waitlist directly through Wodify.

    • When a spot opens up before the late cancellation window (8 hours before class), the next person on the waitlist will be automatically added in the order they signed up.
    • Once the 8-hour late cancellation windowbegins, automatic adds stop — instead, everyone on the waitlist will be emailed, and the first to reply will claim the open spot.

Please only join the waitlist if you’re available to attend, as you may be added automatically up to 8 hours before class time.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

We understand things come up — just make sure to cancel at least 8 hours before class to avoid a fee.

    • Late cancellations (made less than 8 hours before class) will result in a $15 late-cancel fee.
    • No-shows (missed classes without canceling) will also result in a $15 feecharged to your account.

These policies help us keep classes fair and accessible for all members.

  • Where do I park?

The easiest way to get to The Glute House (1611 19th Street, Bakersfield, CA 93301) is to park in the parking structure on 18th Street, which is free for the first two hours.

After parking, you’ll see Wall Street, the small alleyway behind the 19th Street buildings — our entrance is located in that alleyway, directly across from the parking structure. 🍑

  • Why do all workouts include the StairMaster?

The StairMaster is a core part of The Glute Houseexperience. It builds cardiovascular endurance, lower-body strength, and glute development while keeping your heart rate in a powerful, fat-burning zone.

It’s low-impact, joint-friendly, and incredibly effective for conditioning the body between lifts. Every step strengthens your heart, tones your legs, and helps sculpt the glutes that power your movement.

  • Can I use the StairMaster every day?

Yes — when used properly, the StairMaster can safely be part of your daily routine, even with an unlimited membership. We program each session intentionally to balance strength, conditioning, and recovery, so you can train consistently without overdoing it. That said, always listen to your body. Rest days are essential for muscle growth, recovery, and overall performance.

  • Why is training glutes so important?

Your glutes are the powerhouse of your entire body — they’re involved in almost every movement you make, from walking and climbing stairs to lifting, jumping, or even standing tall.

Strong glutes do more than shape your physique — they:

    • Support posture and balance by stabilizing your hips and spine.
    • Prevent injuries by taking pressure off your knees and lower back.
    • Boost athletic performance by powering explosive movements like sprinting, jumping, and lifting.
    • Improve everyday movement — helping you react quicker, stay agile, and even catch yourself if you trip or lose balance.
    • Protect long-term mobility by keeping your joints healthy and your movement efficient as you age.

At The Glute House, we train glutes not just to look good, but to move better, feel stronger, and live with more confidence — every step of the way. 🍑
